In celebration of International Women's Day, Alliance director Peggy Clark and the Aspen ASCEND program will host the Aspen Forum on Women & Girls: Conversations Across Generations, featuring the movement for economic justice and equality for women and girls.
The program on the evening of March 7 will include a tribute to Helen Neuborne, an incredible leader in championing women’s economic empowerment, rights, and justice, for her important work with the Ford Foundation. March 8's full-day event will include a series of plenary sessions featuring provocative conversations about women’s rights, economic justice, and leadership across US and global landscapes. During this program, leaders across generations will share their views on what has been accomplished and the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Alliance director Peggy Clark will moderate a special session on the global women's movement, including Reema Nanavaty, director of India's Self Employed Women's Association. The panel will address "What is next for the global women's movement?"
