Each Artisan Alliance piece is handmade by artisans, and sizing may vary slightly depending on the design, material, and construction of the garment.

Finding Your Fit

Because every style is unique, we include individual garment measurements in the product information for each piece. We recommend using these measurements as your primary guide when selecting your size.

For the best fit, compare the listed garment measurements to a similar piece in your wardrobe that fits you well.

How We Measure

Bust
Measured across the garment from underarm to underarm, then doubled.

Waist
Measured around the garment at the natural waistline.

Hips
Measured around the fullest part of the garment.

Length
Measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem unless otherwise noted.

Sleeve Length
Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

A Note on Handmade Garments

The beauty of handmade clothing is that no two pieces are exactly alike. Slight variations in measurements are natural and are part of the craftsmanship behind each Artisan Alliance piece.

Some styles are intentionally relaxed, oversized, or tailored. Please refer to the fit notes and measurements provided on the individual product page for the most accurate sizing information.
